Caps Lock blinks for a long time then stops.

Hello,

I've been having an issue with my laptop (HP) since this afternoon. It's working perfectly fine (at least it seems so, I don't have any lags or anything like that, or no more than usual).
However, the Caps Lock light is blinking non-stop for 2-3 minutes, then it goes back to normal, blinks again... etc., and this has been going on since around 5 PM.
And I'm worried!
Even though the light is blinking, the Caps Lock key is not activating.

So, do you know what might be causing this, please? Should I be concerned given that the computer is working well despite this issue?

Thank you for taking the time to read my message and any potential responses. ^^

    Hello,

It is only at the startup of the machine that if it does not start and this light blinks, it means something (see the manual and on this site):
    http://administration-systemes.fr/signification-clignotement-voyant-touche-verr-num-ou-verr-maj-portable-hp/

    Or here:
    http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=fr&lc=fr&dlc=fr&docname=c01900144

On other sites, it has also been said that it is the detection of the presence of a CD or DVD for reading that makes this indicator blink.

You can test all the hardware by pressing F2 at startup and running the tests.
