UTorrent is not working anymore

Hello, I usually download my files via torrent, so I use uTorrent.
However, since yesterday, I can’t download anything from any site. Let me explain my case: I go to any site that offers torrent files, I choose the one I’m interested in, I check that there are more seeds than leechers, I click on download, and then nothing happens at all. uTorrent opens correctly, but nothing starts and nothing appears in the uTorrent window. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but still nothing.
I then installed BitTorrent, and everything works fine, but I need uTorrent. Can someone help me, please?

    I had the same problem too, the latest version of uTorrent doesn't work for me, try installing a previous version. And retest with any torrent file...

      Ok thanks, but where can I find an older version? Because on the uTorrent site, it's the latest version.

      To install another version, you need to uninstall the current version, but it doesn't appear anywhere in the uninstaller. I've searched my hard drive and can't find the folder that refers to uTorrent.

      Hello Cedric, to uninstall the new version of µtorrent, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > right-click on µtorrent and choose uninstall. For previous versions of the software, I recommend oldapps.com, and for the µtorrent version, I suggest 2.2.1, which I use and is very stable. (http://www.oldapps.com/utorrent.php?old_utorrent=38 (This is version 2.2.1 of µtorrent)) And make sure not to update your µtorrent by launching it once it's installed ^^.

      P.S.: For the files that refer to µtorrent, it seems to me that there is just µtorrent.exe and some registry keys.

      Kuinopa, I mentioned in the previous message that my current version of uTorrent cannot be found on my PC, neither in Programs and Features nor in Program Files.
