Good evening,
I have become a big fan of Black Butler after watching the anime. But the second season really disappointed me, so I decided to read the volumes.
However, here and there, I notice something strange: Ciel's eye changing like a demon's. Could Ciel be a demon??????
I don't understand, can you help me?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, it's been a while since I finished the series, so I apologize in advance for having to use adjectives for the characters.
If I remember correctly from the last episode, Sebastian managed to get through the labyrinth, but what he didn't know was that the other boy with blonde hair had ordered another demon to ensure that neither Sebastian nor the embodiment of the spider would have Ciel's soul, and so the other demon (dressed in purple) takes or devours his soul and throws him into the water. Sebastian jumps into the water, and the other demon tells him that he has also become a demon (his unfinished contract with Sebastian forces him to remain in the human world and he has become a soulless body, thus a demon), but Sebastian, thinking it’s a lie, pierces Ciel's torso with his hand and sees that he is still alive and with red eyes; he understood that the other demon was telling the truth. But Ciel, having no memory of his revenge fulfilled and no soul left, means that Sebastian is forced to serve him for eternity. I hope this clears things up a bit for you.

Ciel became a demon in season 2, but this season is a filler; it is not in the manga, and I agree that season 2 is rather disappointing.
Well, I’m replying quite late, but know that season 2 is kind of a special episode, which has nothing to do with the manga. Season 1 is actually quite different from the first volumes of the manga. Season 2, Alois and Claude, does not exist in the original manga. The Book of Circus is the logical continuation of the story.
Yes, Alois never existed in the original manga
I find that very strange.
