Difference between Go and Gb....

Hello Forum....
After ordering a 64GB SD-HC card for more storage, I received a 64GB card.
I connect it to my PC to use it, and I see in the card properties that it actually has only 30GB of storage capacity, whereas the markings on the card indicate 64GB.
So I would like to know if I was fooled by the difference between GB and Go, if there is any, because the indications on the card are not falsified; it's a Samsung SD-HC 64GB, while I ordered a 64Go SD-HC....
Could someone explain the difference between Go and Gb?
This capacity difference is astounding...

    1Go French = 1GB English... There's no difference except for the language.

    You should also know that Gb (gigabit) is not equivalent to GB (gigabyte).

    Hello.

    Right-click on "computer>manage>storage>disk management"
    You will see all your disks and your USB key appearing as removable disk, and there you will be able to see the real capacity.
