Toshiba Qosmio won't accept Windows installation

Hello, I have a Toshiba Qosmio laptop that won't allow Windows XP installation. I changed the hard drive, but there is no change; it reaches the middle of the Windows load process and then the interface goes black.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 30.0.1599.101

    Installing Windows XP on a modern microcomputer is generally difficult or even impossible due to the lack of drivers compatible with newer components. This is a consequence of Microsoft ending the main support phase for Windows XP. By disabling the AHCI function in the BIOS, the installation may become possible, though there is no guarantee that all functions will work properly.
