Rendre mon PC de la marque "Essentiel B" comme neuf.

Hello, I have my Essentiel B laptop for a year now. There are a lot of junk installed on it that got there by itself due to some software, and I can't uninstall them, which is really slowing down my laptop.
I’ve watched videos and forums that explain how to reset a laptop to the state it was when purchased, but they're all different. Some say to go to Control Panel - System and Security - Restore this computer to an earlier date, others say to press the F8 key when starting the laptop, others F10, others F11... etc.
So, I would like the help of a professional who is confident in what they're saying, as I'm afraid of making a mistake. I can manage with computers but I won't hide the fact that I'm not very sure of myself when it comes to resetting it since no one gives the same information, and I don't know if the resetting process is different for each brand. Basically, I want to reset my laptop without a CD if possible, I have already backed up my photos and everything on my external hard drive, my laptop is from Essentiel B, and I want it to be like new so it won't lag anymore, and I will be very careful with what I install. That's about it, so please, I would like a professional to explain in detail how to do it without messing it up. Thanks in advance, and thank you to anyone who responds :)
Oh, I almost forgot, I have Windows 7 :)

"safety-restore this computer to an earlier date,"
Best solution for you if you're afraid of making more mistakes; to format, you need a backup CD, and it depends on the brand of the PC.
If I were you, I would restore to an earlier date as far back as possible, then I would do a little cleanup in
Control Panel, add and remove programs.
After that, I would use CCleaner to quickly clean up the PC
Do a defragmentation of your hard drive (it takes time)
And finally, update all drivers via alldrivers.com.
