Hello,
I gave in to a promotional offer from Carrefour for a LOGICOM TAB 1050 tablet seven days ago. I didn't know anything about it. I have learned the hard way about the woes of low-cost tablets: NO ACCESS to GOOGLE PLAY. I find this SCANDALOUS. We’ve reached the stage of simlocked phones against which consumer associations are fighting. Anyway, I searched online for a solution to unlock it. I tried the rooting tutorials without success. Curiously, I can download the Google Play app without any issue. The only problem is that when I launch it, it stops halfway. I rummaged through the tablet to find its references; the name ALCATEL appears in its serial number. Anyway, I'm at a standstill… a bit disgusted… on the verge of starting a public debate to shout loud and clear that manufacturers are mocking us. I hear they promote their own software through which they receive royalties, but I find it scandalous that they prevent me from accessing the largest Android app database at the moment.
Thanks to our computer-savvy friends for indicating a way to get out of this deadlock.
Have a good evening.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 30.0.1599.101

Hello
follow this tutorial to the letter. Make the spoiler appear every time... one more thing, follow where to put the driver file on the OS C partition as indicated, otherwise it won't work... I did this method yesterday on a 1050 under ics4.0.4 important.... read and reread, do the tutorial step by step.

Just for your information, my flashed tablet now appears under the name Alcatel Android... and it works.
