I can no longer change my wallpaper

Hello,

Not long ago, my wallpaper disappeared and was replaced by the Windows wallpaper (the 4 blue squares in the middle), and when I try to change it: impossible!
I tried right-clicking on the desktop: the "personalize" menu is gone!
The same in the control panel: gone!
Normal Windows gallery: the same!
The only way is to go into the Windows Live gallery and select "Set as desktop background", but nothing happens.
Even changing it directly through the Internet browser does nothing, still that horrifically ugly wallpaper!

I know at first glance you might be thinking:
"At worst, just stick with that one, it's not that bad!"
But I'm afraid this is just the beginning of a big virus!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 30.0.1599.101

    Hello,

    In Search, type Regedit
    In HKEY_Current_User\controlPanel\desktop
    on the line Wallpaper
You replace what is written in the setting line with
    C:\users\home\Appdata\roaming\Microsoft\Themes\
    and then close it.
You will be able to choose a wallpaper again in the control panel.
Before that, make a copy or backup of the initial line just in case.

    It worked for me.
