Cell padding in a cell? (Excel 2010)

Hello,

How could I say it?

I filled an Excel cell with a word. Then, to have 3 identical cells (below), I used the drag-and-fill handle.

However, inside one of the copied cells, the word is slightly lower than in the original cell. It's as if there is a margin at the top of the cell (even though I don't think there are margins for each cell, but only for the page).

Do you understand me? If not, I'll recap.

Thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 24.0

Hello

I think it's normal because Excel (which, for your information, is not a word processor) centers the entire text vertically based on all the characters.
Thus, the centering does not provide the same "margins":
___when the font includes letters that are taller than the uppercase letters (e.g., h in some cases)
___when the text includes characters that extend below (e.g., q, p, lowercase y)

best regards

To err is human, to persist is diabolical.
