Do cheat codes in GTA 5 prevent trophy unlocks?

Hello, I have GTA 5 and I would like to cheat a little by using codes for weapons especially, but I've been told that if I do that I won't be able to unlock trophies. Is that true? Thanks in advance

    Hello, yes if you use cheat codes it will disable achievements/trophies during the session, but you can have fun with the codes and when you restart your game you will be able to earn trophies again.
