Protecting a PC in the rain

Hello,

I regularly need to take my laptop (17-inch Asus) to class.
Since I walk about half an hour and cannot take a bus, I would like to know what solutions there are to transport my laptop without risk in the rain?
I currently carry it in a "normal" laptop bag.
But it is not waterproof and I can't find any waterproof bags in stores (I don't want to buy one online).

So, do you have any solutions? (Would a large plastic bag inside the laptop bag be enough to protect it from the rain?)
Given its size (17 inches), I can't fit it in my school bag and put a cover over it.

    Good evening,

    Unless there is torrential rain, an umbrella should suffice to limit the water that falls on the bag (which absorbs a good part of the drops it receives before the computer is touched).
    Otherwise, a strange plastic bag will do the trick (a thick plastic one like you can find in some stores, or at worst a trash bag, it’s not very pretty but it’s waterproof).

    Good evening,

    It's always a bothersome problem

    A large plastic bag inside the bag is good, except if it rains a lot (risk of leaks...)
    A plastic bag completely wrapping the bag and tightened is much better, but it's not always very aesthetically pleasing if that's what bothers you.

    Otherwise, there are waterproofing products available, but they are quite expensive and not very effective in general.

      I would like to know where I can find a large Tupperware box.
      It's to replace my bathtub (it's broken everywhere).
