Yes, but he shaves it because there is a lot more hair in the summer :p

Does it stand easily, does it bark all the time? What is it like to live with on a daily basis? And what size does it reach in adulthood?

It's a very temperamental dog as an adult, it comes up to your knees; otherwise, they are wonderful dogs.

It's a beautiful dog, characterful I confirm, untrainable! I was only able to teach him to sit :). He's not playful. Extremely attached to his owner, but he internalizes his affection. He needs to be brushed often. The chow chow rarely barks. He is truly a special dog that doesn't suit everyone.
I've had two, a male and a female, the female is 16 years old today, it's very rare for this breed to live that long, however, I have a preference for the "blues" as we say (more common are the blacks) over the reds (statistically a bit more aggressive!). Best regards.

It comes in short or long hair, and to summarize, it's the independent character of the cat.
