Hello,

I just bought a USB 2.0 A2 video capture key kit at LIDL with the installation driver CD Cyber Link Power Director 9. My two computers, one with XP and the other with Seven, do not recognize the capture key, which means I cannot do anything. Maybe a possible update, but I can't find any link to do it. If you have a solution, please help me. It's impossible to return it as I no longer have the receipt. I really want to get it working; I am counting on you. Thank you.

    Video transfer box
Hello, to transfer the content of an analog VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi8 cassette or an analog video stream, you need to connect the camcorder or VCR or another device to an “external box” that handles the “hardware” conversion of the “analog stream” to “digital” and then connect the box to the computer via a USB cable. The file is converted to mpeg2, a format that is easy to burn and compatible with all players, and allows for editing with “studio.”
You connect the box and the camcorder or VCR with an S-VHS connection recommended or composite (less good) (RCA yellow) and a cable for sound (2 RCA red, white). For the VCR, you need a Scart connection with an adapter or cable with the “out” direction or with an inverter in out S-VHS or composite RCA yellow (less good) plus sound, two RCA outputs red white
Remember to select Pal for color
I recommend the Dazzle box, either “recorder” DVD only or video HD, creator, or platinum depending on your needs if you want to “arrange” your movies with titles and music
The price of the advanced editing software STUDIO 14 HD (value alone €61) included with this box in “creator” and “platinum” versions makes the product interesting
You can also find it second-hand on the web and resell it when you no longer need it
There are exotic products like USB keys and 4 wires, cheaper but be careful, as they often lead to hassles, judging by the messages from desperate members on the forum

The format being 4/3, the image quality can only be judged on the living room TV screen. The link:
