Cossacks European Wars cursor issue

Hello.
After the usual "dmcr.exe" bug, I deleted the game videos via its folder. But now, I can't see my mouse when I start the game. It moves, I know because I can hear the sound, and if I click blindly in the right spot, it clicks on the "single player" icon.
But playing this game without being able to select any unit without searching for the cursor for a quarter of an hour... Because, as I repeat, it is simply invisible, although present.
I'm on Windows 8, with a Packard Bell, and very clearly, enough space on the hard drive.
I should mention that if I don't run it as an administrator, this game won't start at all!

If someone could help me solve this problem, I thank you in advance.

    Up ?

Exactly the same problem and the same goes for "The Art of War" and "Back to War".

I'm also searching in vain for the solution...
      Unfortunately, I can't find it...
Some are talking about a compatibility issue! (64/32 Bits...)

      Food for thought.

Hi. I made a video on my YouTube channel where I show you how to download and play Cossacks: Back to War, European Wars, and Art of War on Windows 10, 8.1, and 8. Basically, it's Cossacks Anthology, but free and working on Windows 10.
