"Properties" option inaccessible hard drives

Hello everyone.
I am working with Win 7 Pro. In Windows Explorer, when I right-click on a drive and want to click on the option (at the bottom of the table that appears) PROPERTIES,
a message appears saying: "THE PROPERTIES FOR THIS ITEM ARE NOT AVAILABLE."
I must have made a wrong move, but I can't figure out what.
How can I regain access to the "properties" option?

Hello François. Thank you for contacting me. Sorry for the delay in my response, but I was away for an extended period.
I have carried out your procedure, and all the disks appear to be healthy. However, if I right-click on a partition, even here access to the properties is denied to me. ("THE PROPERTIES FOR THIS ITEM ARE NOT AVAILABLE")
Note: I encounter the same issue under administrator and on all disks.
