I am looking for the driver for the JVC GR-D239E camcorder in order to connect it to my computer and retrieve the movies.

I have lost the installation CD

      EDIT In principle, Windows should recognize your cam and offer drivers via Add Hardware when you connect it to the appropriate port on your computer.
