I am researching to find the driver for the JVC camera: GR-D93E

Have you found your solution since then? If so, could you guide me on how to get it (I lost the installation CD)?

I know that the post is very old :) But I must let you know that I have solved the same problem.

No drivers are available for the USB on Vista and Windows 7. However, it works very well via FireWire under Windows 7. I didn't have to install anything. And it works under MSN Messenger. What a nice webcam :D.

So we practically have to use the USB cable to transfer photos and buy a FireWire cable for video transfer. Also, it's much nicer over FireWire than over USB. I'm speaking from experience; the video is larger over FireWire than over USB.
