Bluetooth key and authentication code Solved

Question

I installed Bluesoleil on my PC to transfer data using a Bluetooth dongle with my mobile (Nokia 6086); however, the manual for my mobile asks for the Bluetooth authentication code of the device to pair it with the phone. What code is it referring to? If someone could provide me with this information, it would be really great because I'm not really an expert in this area. Thank you in advance.

Hi!
I have the same phone as you and, logically, it should be the same: for each Bluetooth connection, it asks you for a code that is by default 0000, so unless you set a code when installing your BT key, it should work....

I also have a Nokia 6086, the code it asks for is 12345 by default. And the only video format it supports is 3GP, you need a converter (you can easily find one on the web^^)

Hello everyone,

Having issues with a BT key, I had the opportunity to browse a few pages of this site.

I now have a Hama key that works very well. During installation, the program also asked for a key to be able to work. You can find it with the Nokia PC Suite program when requesting a connection.

At my place, for 2 Nokia phones (6230i and 6234) it was 123. Just type the code on the phone's keypad when prompted by the program. A message appears on the screen and the phone is activated for transfer.

Hi,  As mentioned earlier, I obtained the identification codes by installing the Nokia PC Suite software. When you connect via this program for the first time, it gives you the key.  Have a nice day

Hello everyone,  It seems that the Nokia 2680 slide is having trouble recognizing certain devices (PCs, for example) even when their Bluetooth is turned on. This is the case for me, at least.  The procedure that needs to be followed is as follows: As elieb2 said >> "Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > Paired devices > Add device >"  When the device appears, you need to select it, give it an authentication code, the famous one. But if you don't see the device, you can't assign a code to it.  I agree, it's frustrating, especially when the computer sees your phone just fine and the software offered by Nokia tells you that your computer does not have Bluetooth while you are communicating with your mobile but you are missing that famous authentication code to make it work.  No solution for now.
