My tablet only works when plugged in

Hello, I need your help....I was given a tablet 3 months ago and for some time now it only works if I plug it into a power source!!! The battery shows as charged, but if I unplug it, it turns off...does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?? Thanks in advance to those who will respond :D

    For a problem like this, if it was new 3 months ago (so still under warranty), head to customer service.
