Make empty cells instead of 0 and ""

Question

Hello,  Since you are using Excel 2003, can you tell me how to make the cells containing a 0 or "" (from formulas) truly empty? Thank you.  Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 21.0

Hello

Since it's the result of a formula, the cell is not empty; it contains the formula.

"" equals displays nothing

0 the zero may not be displayed; see in Excel options not to display zeros

Thank you for answering me, the ISBLANK function that tests if the cell is really empty tells me that it is not empty and I need to see the 0s.
