Issue with apostrophe + overall layout

Hello,

My first issue concerns word processing in Word 2007: for some time now, whenever I put in apostrophes ('), a space automatically appears afterward and I can't seem to remove it. How can I stop this space from appearing?
My second issue concerns the formatting in Word 2007 as well: when I want to center or move a paragraph or a part of my text, it centers or moves the entire text on my page even though I only selected a single part. How can I prevent this from happening, please?

I hope these questions haven't already been asked...

Thank you in advance for your advice!

Do you mean "justified"? No, it has nothing to do with that.
The spacing issue after the apostrophe comes from your keyboard ; for me, when I remove and add an apostrophe, it is written correctly. You need to reset your ['] key...

The layout problem is due to the fact that you checked "Automatically update" at the bottom of the [Edit style] window for the "No line spacing" style. Just uncheck that option.

    Best regards.

Could it be a problem related to the text that is "adjusted"?
