Hello,

The relay (the one that clicks when it turns on) must be oxidized.

It can be cleaned or replaced.

For cleaning the contacts, I use Brasso, finishing with alcohol or window cleaner.

It would be better to desolder, disassemble it for a proper cleaning, unless you can soak and dry it well inside without wetting the transformer.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION. I WILL CHECK ON MY SIDE AND GET BACK TO YOU. WHERE CAN I FIND THIS PRODUCT?

It probably needs to be opened for cleaning; it's not necessary to replace it.

It's easier to clean, but be careful of the wires on the sides of the coil.

I can't tell you where to find another one if needed, maybe on the Mouser website.

IS IT REALLY THE LARGE GRAY RELAY RY501 LOCATED NEAR THE TWO BLACK CAPACITORS OF 8200MF?

I can't say, just tell you that it makes a click when turned on.

Often, the cover is transparent, but it can be gray.

A contact cleaner is not enough.

If the relay opens, rather buy Brasso

With a toothbrush.
