Speaker selection with Onkyo A-9211 amplifier

Hello,
Three years ago, I bought an Onkyo A-9211 amplifier and I would like to invest in quality speakers suitable for this device. The amplifier's power is 160w.
As I have two speakers, I can connect them either at 4 ohms or at 8 ohms (speakers A+B).
My budget is under 1000 euros.
I've heard about DIY kits, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, and in any case, I don't know what type of material to buy.

    Hello, a DIY kit costs about 50 euros less than assembled ones. The problem is there isn't much choice, and to buy speakers, you need to go out. You should check out Cobrason; they often have good deals.
