Random computer lock-up Solved

Question

Hello,  My computer (Windows 8) locks itself after 2 minutes of inactivity. I would like to cancel this feature.  Thank you for your help. Sincerely

Sorry, I don't have a "control panel" icon on my homepage, I enter the "control panel" application that is located on the desktop.

Hello,
You need to go to the control panel, then system and security to find "Power Options".

- Click on it and in this window you will find:
normal usage and power saving.

- Click on "Change plan settings" for the active plan.
In this window, click on "Change advanced power settings".

- Here you are at the right place;), you just need to find the line "Sleep".
Inside you will see "Hibernate after".

By clicking on it, you can choose the time option that suits you or even disable hibernation. ;)

Here is a link that will help you because on Win 8 it is a bit different from Win 7.
I just gave you the path for Win 7 and below is for 8 but written in English. By combining both, I am sure you will succeed:
