Hello,
I have my GRUNDIG R 100 CAR 200 car radio in an OPEL Corsa. It is locked due to a mishandling. The word SAFE is constantly displayed on the screen. I would like to find someone who could help me. Otherwise, I have to go to OPEL, and it's going to cost me. Thank you in advance.

Hello
There are only 3 legal solutions to retrieve the car radio code:
a) If the car radio was installed by the car manufacturer, the solution is to go to a dealership of the vehicle's brand with the documents (registration certificate) so they can provide the code. This is either free or not, depending on the dealerships.
b) If the car radio was purchased and installed by someone other than the manufacturer, you need to either contact the store where you bought the radio and do as mentioned previously, or contact the manufacturer of the car radio, who will provide the procedure to follow.
c) If the car radio was in a second-hand vehicle, you just need to contact the previous owner to get the code from them or the purchase receipts if they no longer have this code.
