How to create a timeline on a PC?

Hello everyone, I have an assignment that I need to submit soon and I have to create a timeline, but the problem is that I don't know how to make a timeline on a computer. I would like to know if there is any specialized software or anything else I could use to make my timeline?

    Good evening
    You can create a timeline using drawing software such as Inkscape or with the Drawing module of Open Office
    With the latter, you won't be short on tools (arrows, rectangles, etc.). You can even add photos.

    Curiosity on CCM is not a flaw but a quality.
