Can I delete render files? If so, how?

Hello,

I created an editing project on Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and now I want to export the media.

However, the space on my hard drive seems insufficient (250 GB free for 3 hours of video at a resolution of 1920*1080, 25i/s).
By the way, I initially had about 600 GB free on my PC, but I went from 600 to 250 a few days ago, after rendering my project!!!
I continued to work and since then, I have made several modifications to my edit => I have red lines again.
I’m done, I want to export, but the disk space seems insufficient.

What do you advise me to do?
Can I delete the rendered files to free up space and proceed with the export? Will that have any impact on my project?

Thank you for your help.

    Hello.

You can definitely delete the renders, but if you do that, you will lose a lot of performance when playing back your edit in Premiere.

To delete them, you need to go to your project folder > Adobe Premiere Pro preview files

You will find all the render files there, ranging from a few KB to several hundred MB, spread across one or more folders.

Another solution is to go into Premiere, in the sequence menu, select the "Delete render files" option (something like "delete render files" in French). I never use this solution, so I can't tell you if you need to do it for each sequence or just for the current one, and to what extent it erases your files and frees up space.
