CMD - List the disks

Hello,

does anyone know a command that allows you to list the disks/USB drives connected to a computer via the command interpreter?

For example, I boot from the Windows installation CD, I launch the repair tools, I open the command interpreter, and from there, I would like to know the list of available disks, USB drives, and which letter is associated with them.

Is that possible?

Thank you

Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 24.0.1312.57

Hello,

Here are the commands:

diskpart (enters the disk manager) list disk (lists the disks) select disk n (n= disk number) list partition (lists the partitions) list volume (all detected volumes) select partition volume (etc.)

Hello,

In the command prompt:

DISKPART

then press Enter, and then;

LIST DISK

then press Enter. It will display a list of disks.

I just took the test, and it's exactly what I was looking for:

diskpart

followed by list volume

gives me a list with the different volumes, letters, partitions... in short, the info I need

Awesome guys, thanks and keep it up ;)
