I invite you to do the calculation yourself based on the average size of the videos you want to store on your disk.

To find out the size of your video, right-click on your video,
select the properties tab, and look in the size info, usually expressed in MB for videos.

    Knowing that 1 GB = 1024 MB
you can count that if your videos average 700 MB (average quality film)
    you can store 500 * 1024 / 700 = +/- 730 videos on your disk

For high-quality films, you can assume that a file can sometimes be 1.5 GB:
    the calculation is simple 500 / 1.5 = +/- 330 videos
    that's it.

Hello, for this response I knew it but since I'm facing a small size problem there are 40 MB when I want to check the amount of disk space even though I haven't stored anything on this external hard drive but I can no longer remember my password it's a Samsung T5 portable 500GB; so I think it's Windows or Samsung that is blocking my system.

Thank you for your response. It is as clear as a drop of pure water, just joking.
      Thank you.
