How to complete an Excel file received by email?

Hello,I'm not very good with computers, but I received an Excel document by email that I need to complete, but I can't do it; I can't click on any menu! Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance!Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 24.0.1312.57

Hello Hye ;-)
Excel is a tool from the paid Office suite...
However, you can complete the document by saving it with "Calc"
Check in: Tools > Options > Load and Save > Microsoft Office.
In the window that appears, check all the boxes C and E > OK.
In principle, that should work...

I've tried again and no, it doesn't work either.

I think after reflection that it's because I might not have Excel on my computer anymore. Let me explain: I have it in my menu by clicking on start, but even when I go there directly, it doesn't work. It's possible that with my computer, I had an Excel offer that was valid for about 15 days and that the offer expired a long time ago, knowing that I don't use Excel at all; I use the spreadsheet from Open Office when I need it, so I wasn't too concerned about it. But having received an Excel document very recently, obviously, I looked into the subject. I hope I was clear, but in short, I think I need to download Excel and give it another try!!! And if it doesn't work, well that's too bad!!!!! Do you think that might be a good solution?
