Unable to activate my webcam (MSI GE70)

Yes, they all work except for the P1 key. Well, I have no idea what it does because nothing happens when I press it either. I might need to fix (sorry for the vocabulary) one of the drivers with the installation CD provided with the PC?

I received the MSI GE60 a week ago, and I have exactly the same problem, but unlike you, I have never managed to activate it. I am also looking for a solution to the problem...

I have an MSI GE60 0NC and I have the same problem as you guys :/

I went to the MSI website to try to find the appropriate driver, but in the Drivers section for the GE60 0NC, all I found was:

"Camera
Description This device uses the native driver bundled in the operating system."

This means that it is a Windows 8 driver that is supposed to allow the use of the built-in webcam.
Maybe a reinstallation of Windows 8 (an upgrade) could solve the problem.

Unfortunately, I am in a similar situation having recently purchased an MSI GE60 0nd, I still can't activate my webcam even by pressing the Fn + F6 keys, the camera remains "invisible"...

I finally made it by installing webcam software (like YouCam) that detected the webcam, so I was able to see it.
The only problem is that I feel like I'm reliant on this software to use it.

I updated my MSI GE70 laptop to Windows 8 (purchased in June with Windows 7) and since then the webcam has stopped working... driver issue???

I have exactly the same problem; since the Windows updates, my webcam on my GE70 is no longer working.

Check the system control manager (G key on the touchpad) ;-)
