Hello, I'm reaching out to you specialists for your opinion on some speakers I just acquired. They are "Celestion" 2-way PA speakers that the seller claims develop 150 W RMS with an impedance of 8 ohms. I would like to ask if, just by looking at them, you have a specific model in mind, whether they seem to be of good quality, where Celestion ranks in the PA market (fairly good in hi-fi), and whether the speaker benefits from compression or has a low-end tweeter, like a piezo. Please give me as many of your impressions as possible.

    Thank you for your reply sawsix, are the bullet tweeters good tweeters? Does the woofer seem to be of good quality? The woofer might be a Celestion woofer, I should check? In your opinion, are the speakers junk? I bought this for occasional sound use..

      Alright, well I didn't know that, I thought it was not the case.

      The question remains whether the boomer is actually in such a enclosure, if the person didn’t hastily build the box.

      Dismantle the boomer and with a bit of luck you'll find the reference on the magnet's label.

    Hi,

    It's not "Celestion" apart from the glued logo... it's homemade.
    Celestion doesn't make bullet tweeters (compact compression)... a questionable pair of speakers... why did you buy that?
