Hello,
I have been trying by all means to connect my Panasonic 3D plasma flat screen TV to my Wi-Fi or my Blu-ray player. The connection asks for either a wired connection or a wireless one, which is what I’ve been doing since this morning.
Neither one nor the other works.
My TV is less than a year old, brand new.
Some help would be welcome.
Thank you

Good evening,
I have the TX-P55VT30 and I hope yours is similar to this one. Normally, it's explained quite well in the documentation and I personally haven't had any problems.
To connect the TV to Wi-Fi, you need to plug the WiFi adapter (provided) into USB port 1 or 2 (not the others). Using the remote, select Menu, then Setup, then Network Setup. Then set the type of network to Wi-Fi. Next, select "Access Point Setting," and then answer NO to search for an access point. A list will appear (if there are several networks next to yours), then select your Wi-Fi network using the remote and press OK. The encryption type should then be displayed, and you need to enter your Wi-Fi network's key using the alphanumeric pad shown. After that, follow the prompts, answer YES for the key on your network, etc.... Once the settings and entries are complete, test the connection (still from the remote in the Network Setup menu). Everything should be OK....
As for the Blu-ray and TV connections (I also have a Panasonic), I connected it with an HDMI cable, but the player cannot connect to the internet because it would also need a small WiFi adapter. If you want to update it, you'll need to temporarily connect it to your internet box via an RJ45 Ethernet cable and then access the player menu, etc.... (if it's a Panasonic, of course).
I don't know if this will help you, but your question is a bit vague...
Best regards.-

Hello,
You are giving very few details about your symptoms... Additionally, what type of box do you have?
What is the actual error? Which model of Panasonic? Do you have the small WIFI transmitter connected to port 1 or 2 of your Panasonic TV?
Is the WIFI from your box working correctly for other devices? (desk microphone, laptop, etc...). Is your TV not too far from your box (or on a different floor)?
Check on your TV that the SSID name matches the name of your box (careful with lowercase and uppercase). Check the type of encryption key according to your box. For entering the key, be mindful of lowercase and uppercase. Ensure that DHCP is activated.
During the WIFI setup on the TV, you can display the PIN code, note it down, and it should be set on your box. For my part, I have an Orange Livebox 2 and in the "WIFI Settings" page under the "Pairing" section, I added the PIN code displayed on my TV.
Normally Panasonic has well explained the WIFI network setup for its TV, so make sure to verify everything that has been mentioned.
Given your information, it is not very easy to help you at the moment.
Best regards.
