    hello

    we should clean the inside of the laptop (dismantle it) to remove dust that can block the fan or heat dissipation, also perhaps replace the thermal paste on the CPU and also the GPU

    and if with these options it still overheats then we will need to buy a cooler, that's not bad what we can do with laptops :/

      I thought of that, but the laptop is only 4 months old, it's almost new, that's why I don't understand. I also have a Toshiba for 5 years with a busted screen and dusty, and it still runs like crazy. STRANGE on a VAIO though

      for the paste I know the procedure, what bothers me again, I repeat, is that it’s new.

    Hello, your temperatures are a bit high but normal for a laptop; its CPU can handle 100°C, especially the i5 2450M, see what Intel says:

    As for the SpeedFan flames, they don’t mean anything, since they are configurable and set by default to 50°C...

    Since your laptop is 4 months old and still under warranty, I would advise you not to open it to clean or change the thermal paste, you would void the warranty

      you won’t be able to mess with the vcore, anything involving overclocking or the FSB is locked on laptops and even if you could touch the vcore I don’t recommend it because it’s portable so more risky

    again well it's heating up I had my fans on full blast constantly

    here's what I did - Control Panel.
    - Power Options.
    - Click "Change plan settings"
    - Change advanced power settings.
    - Under Processor power management, choose "Maximum processor state" and change from 100% to 95%

    my fans slowed down.

      It still stays at a lot, 70 °C for the CPU, but it’s better to be at 90 °C ^^
