Unable to create a restore point ERROR 0x8004230F

Hello,

Help, who can assist me?????

I no longer have a restore point and I can't create one because my PC tells me,
The restore point could not be created for the following reason:
error detected in the snapshot provider while processing the specified command.
specified command. (ERROR 0x8004230F)

    It's TuneUp that's causing problems under Vista (SP2)
    Disable TURBO mode in TuneUp and it's resolved.

    Hi

    Do you have Tune Up Utility 2011 on your PC? It seems to be the cause of the deletion of your restore points.

      Thank you very much Morgane, it was the turbo mode of Tune Up Utility 2011 that I disabled which was causing this problem. A HUGE THANK YOU, I would have never found it!!!
