Station d'accueil HDD tout-en-un

Hello.
Under Windows 7, the SATA drives are recognized properly. However, I can't get the IDE drives to work.
I also haven't figured out if the dock is USB 3 compatible because there appear to be several models. (purchased on Amazon). I have model 875.

I bought this dock and after testing 5 different drives, and after doing some research online, I can tell you with certainty that Western Digital drives do not work (at least my 4 drives).
No WD drive is recognized under Windows 7 with this dock, whereas they are all recognized when connected via a standard IDE cable to the case. Some power on and spin but are not recognized, some don’t even start.
Out of the 5 I tested, only one drive works perfectly with the dock and it’s a Maxtor :(
It's frustrating! I'm hesitating to take it back.

I have the same problem with a 500 GB WD Caviar Blue IDE hard drive under XP SP3! Is there a solution somewhere on the Net?
Please help me out of my despair!

Hi fredgi,

A hard drive docking station will not be recognized if you don't have a hard drive plugged into it.
If you don’t have any hard drives connected to your dock, it’s normal that your PC doesn’t detect anything.

I have my hard drive connected to my dock (IDE) and it doesn't show up on my computer (desktop), no options to open it or copy folders onto it.
I find it strange, I will check with a SATA hard drive to see if it does the same thing.

Try with another hard drive.

If it works, your IDE drive is dead; otherwise, your station is dead.

Actually, I just saw that I'm missing Cypress AT2LP RC42 and I don't know how to install it?
I tried in Device Manager and updated, right-clicking on this device but nothing happens.
If you have any solutions, thank you.

I confirm that Western Digital hard drives do not work with the dock.
