Hello, I need help! I have a Nikon Coolpix (a small model) and I've had it for 3 years. My photos have noise, the quality is poor, and it no longer makes me want to take pictures, even though it's a passion. I can't afford to buy a new camera and I don't have Photoshop. What should I do? I use Photofiltre/Photoscape and partially Picasa.

Good evening,

correct it using a software (without Photoshop)

If your camera produces noise, it may be that you're too high in sensitivity or that you're taking photos in automatic mode without flash in too dark places; it may also be that this camera is worn out. However, there is no need to have Photoshop to denoise images (nonsense), and those who do HDR with Luminance, for example, know this well. Many people (including me from time to time) use this free and very effective denoising software...

Luke.

The price of software is inversely proportional to its usability....

he might be a bit old? :/ You should check where you bought it because that's not normal!

He's only 2 or 3 years old. I was wondering how we could improve the quality or correct it using software (without Photoshop). If I have to buy another one, honestly, that really sucks!

I always take my photos with the flash, but for the sensitivity, it's possible. Thanks for the info, I'll check that right away :)
