Hello,

I would like to put games on my 4 GB USB drive, but it doesn't have much memory to store a game, so how can I double its capacity or just improve its size, please? Thank you :(

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

    hi
it's impossible, if your key is 4GB, you only have 4GB, it doesn't change, sorry...

you should get a bigger one...

    what size is your game?

Nothing is impossible; you just need to have the will and the know-how. Thank you.

Hello, there's only one solution available to you, so here’s a little tutorial:

You get up, go to the nearest computer store to your home,
then you pick a bigger USB stick and pay for it.

This solution is the simplest one I know.

I’m talking about persistence; having installed the system on this USB key but only occupying part of it to update the software inside, it doesn't find enough space. Did I understand correctly?

How did you come to believe that we could artificially increase a medium's capacity, seriously?

To double the capacity, you just buy one that's 8GB.

There are tutorials on YouTube. Tomorrow there might (finally!) be "how to turn lead into gold" tutorials. (Lol) What do these kinds of programs really hide???

    Hello

It's not possible... You can't fit an elephant into a shoebox...

The only thing you can do to increase the size of your key is to buy a new one, and given the price of keys nowadays, it's not a heavy investment.

    Thank you

    But no, that's impossible.

You can put things on both, but you can't make one 8GB key out of two.

The storage capacity is physical; it's "virtual," it's a closed storage space in a USB key. You can't break down the walls to increase the space...

Try to make everything fit on both, but you can only use one or the other. You can't create a single 8GB one.

You're not in Dragon Ball to make fusions... lol

The sales of keys such as 1TB exist, and yet they only go up to 32GB max. So you all say that it's not possible, and yet they do it. How do you explain that?

A 1TB USB key (yet it only has 32GB) doesn't exist yet ^^

"how do you explain that then?" <= it's a scam!!!

      500€ for 512GB, up to over 300€ for a 256GB => https://www.ldlc.com/informatique/peripherique-pc/cle-usb/c4651/

At this price, I prefer 1000 times hard drives; for 500€, you can get 5-6 2TB drives ^^
