Breaking my TV Solved

Question

Hello,

I have a Sony KDL 40Z4500 TV that is no longer functioning properly.
I have a clouding issue as well as a power-on problem (I have sound but no image and it’s random).
The problem is that my warranty (which I paid more than 300€ for) does not cover this type of issue according to the technician (D...TY).
After countless phone battles, I’m fed up.
So my solution is to permanently break my TV so that the warranty can take effect.
It's unfortunate to come to this, but I see no other solution...
So if you could help me that would be really nice.

I did, and according to them, clouding is not covered by the warranty (see the many topics on the forums).
The second "problem" is not systematic and therefore not verifiable by the technician.
For them, I have a TV that works properly, while the clouding effect worsens month by month...
How was I supposed to know at the time that clouding was not included in the warranty? Not everyone is super knowledgeable about high-tech technologies.
I've spent quite a few hours with Sony or Da...ty customer service and there's no solution.
I'm losing hope, and in the absence of a diplomatic solution, force is required (and it's a shame, I know).

What I could read on a site

"Clouding is not always bothersome. In some cases, by adjusting the backlight, brightness, and contrast settings of the TV, it can be reduced.

The causes can be various:
- poor assembly.
- a problem with the control circuit settings.
- a difference in pixel size in one area of the panel.

If the "clouding" of your LCD TV is a significant annoyance, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer to find a commercial solution. "
