Hello,
I created a form with Acrobat Pro from a Word 2007 document. I'm sending it for completion via email, and when it comes back, the fields seem empty, but when I click on a field, the info appears, and only when I click; otherwise, nothing. When I print it, it's empty!
Could it be that there's something I forgot, or is it because the people have an older version of Acrobat or simply don't have it???
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 22.0.1229.79

I've never done it from Word to transform them later into Acrobat..
Look at what happens in Acrobat "Pro".. you have tools to create forms although the specific tool for that is Acrobat Designer.
I feel like you have visible/invisible info that must be interfering or white blocks from Word (like highlighting). Check the properties of the fields with Acrobat Pro.
If it's really blocking, you can always recreate the fields in Acrobat.

Hello.
I have exactly the same problem. I checked the properties of the fields with Acrobat Pro and there doesn't seem to be any issues on that side.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you.

I NO LONGER HAVE THIS ISSUE:
Like before, I always create my forms from Word to then transform them (in Word, you can do a more suitable layout). Once the layout is complete, I save everything;
I open Adobe Acrobat Pro;
I select a task, either create the form;
(Window appears - create the form) Select From an existing document;
(Window changes - for Existing form) Select the previously saved and laid out Word doc by clicking browse;
the form will automatically generate;
Modify the properties as needed;
insert a button to send the form via email.
This way, my forms come back complete! :)
HOW TO ADD A FORM SUBMIT BUTTON VIA EMAIL:
Insert a button, then click on it to display its properties;
the button could be visible on screen only (to do this in the button properties select in the common properties tab general Visible on screen, invisible when printing.);
The label represents the text that will be written on the button (option tab) so write submit the form;
in the Action tab select mouse released in the Select trigger box;
Select Send a form in the Select action box and click add;
add the email address where the forms will be sent and write “mailto” in front of this address.
click OK and save your form... and you're done!
