Hello,

My computer cannot read MMC/SD cards, MEMORY STICK/PRO, SMARTMEDIA/xD. Can we find a driver that will allow my computer to read them? Note that I am using WINDOWS 7 on my computer.

Thank you for helping me solve this problem.

Do you have a reader for this kind of cards on your PC? I’m talking about a reader on which the type of card to use is clearly written.

    Hello,

Sure, my PC is an HP Pavilion a1412n which has 7 USB ports and 4 memory card ports (MMC/SD, MEMORY STICK/PRO, SMARTMEDIA/xD, COMPACTFLASH I/II). There is no problem with the USB ports, they all work. It is the memory card reader ports that do not work.

Thank you for helping me resolve this issue.

Figure yourself that I have this PC too :)
It's very likely a problem with the drivers.
Go to www.ma-config.com and run a scan then download the drivers it suggests. I should also note that many card readers cannot read several at once.

phew! I mounted it on ma-config.com but they didn’t propose the right drivers. Now my PC can read the 2 GB SD, but when I insert the 8 GB SD which is SDHC, my PC can’t read it and the hard drive has startup problems.

Thank you for helping me solve this problem.
