Hey guys,
I found this which works pretty well, let me know what you think!!
If no code works, it is possible to find the code without having to type it.
Turn on the device you want to control.
Set the selector on the remote to the type of device to be controlled (TV or VCR).
Press and hold the SHIFT button until the red light stays on.
Aim the remote at the device and try to turn it off by pressing the ON button once.
As soon as the device turns off, press OK to save the code.
If the device doesn't turn off, press the ON button again as many times as necessary (up to 200 times) until the device turns off. Between presses, allow time for the red light to turn off and then back on (about 1 second). This allows you to see the device's reaction.
As soon as the device to be controlled turns off, press OK to save the code.
Checking the programming:
Your device is, in principle, ready to receive commands from the remote.
Test its functionality to verify it.

I'm pulling my hair out trying to turn down the volume on my SEELTECH TV with a ROC 4206 Thomson remote control. I have no manual for either the TV or the remote, and the volume is at maximum. You can see the struggle. If anyone has a solution, I would be grateful, especially since this little TV has great picture quality. But the sound!!! Please, I need to turn it down. I should also mention that by fiddling with it, I must have messed something up because even another universal remote doesn't pick up the code. HELP!!!!
Hello,
I can't seem to find it online.
And yet... you just have to click on the link in the post above yours!

Hi,
Have you tried the search methods C & D mentioned in the manual? https://mesnotices.20minutes.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%202206-_F
If it doesn't work, it means your remote and module are not compatible, which is unfortunately more common than manufacturers claim.

Hello,
You click on this link. http://www.thomsonlink.com/support/# You won’t find anything by selecting your remote control reference. So, click on SIGN UP.
On the page that opens, create a username and a password and click on Sign Up.
By returning to the previous page, you can click on Login to reach a search page. Again, no need to look for your remote control. Click on New Request.
Make your request, making sure to fill in the Properties section, and finish by clicking Validate.
Normally within 48 working hours (exceptionally 72 hours, with apologies), you will receive an email with your manual attached.
Bye.

It's not impossible that it comes from the fact that you're using Safari as a browser or Mac as an OS.
But still a bit surprising. Generally, in these cases, there is a warning indicating that it only works with Internet Explorer and possibly Firefox.
Do try again anyway. It might have just been a temporary issue.
If it still doesn't work, you have the option to make the request from a friend's or relative's PC that uses Windows + IE or Firefox.

Hi jmp59,
thanks for your solution because I'm also in the same situation ;-(
I just posted my request for the user manual with the codes for the ROC4206!
But I have the feeling that the site isn't working; at least, you can see "choose your product" and if it's on the list, get your user manual, and when I do that it tells me:
"No information is currently available on www.thomsonlink.com. Please sign up on the Thomson support site to consult our database online or ask a question to a customer service representative."
Anyway, I'll keep you updated if the trick works, but thanks anyway for helping poor internet dwellers!!

You write
when I do this it says:
"No information is currently available on www.thomsonlink.com. Please register on the Thomson support site to consult our database online or ask a question to a customer advisor.
That's what I said in a more concise form lol

No way to find the manual for the 4206, but check out the one for the ROC 2206
The list of codes and the method to enter the one for your TV should be the same.

Universal remote controls allow you to operate various models of televisions with different ways to switch channels. It's impossible to explain them all!
It's in your television's manual that you'll find how to switch channels, not in that of any universal remote control.
