Hello,
I have a Windows 7 PC on which I've been experiencing a problem for the past week.
As soon as I turn on the computer, I get a window with the following message:
Window title: File Name Warning
Window content: There is a file or folder named: "C:\Program" on your computer that may be causing issues for certain applications.
Renaming it to "C:\Program1" would resolve the issue. Would you like to rename it now?
I've ignored this window, but it reappears each time. Similarly, I can no longer use certain programs such as Internet Explorer; as soon as I start it, I get a window saying:
Title: A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer
Message: This program does not have a valid digital signature authenticating its publisher. It will be opened outside of protected mode, which may affect the security of your computer. Only run programs from publishers approved by you.
Name: C://Program
Publisher: Unknown Publisher
and two buttons Allow / Do not allow.
Do you have any idea about this problem (its origin and how to resolve it)?
I would like to point out that I have not used or installed any new program recently (Last installation: SQL Server Express 2008 about 3 weeks ago)
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.17

try to run a complete analysis of your computer using your antivirus
ps: this has happened to me before and my antivirus detected a Trojan (I have McAfee)

Good evening and thank you for your interest in my post
I have already tried an antivirus scan using my Avast antivirus and the online scan from Nod32 - ESET, and in both cases, there were no results.
