Problem with topgun fox 2 pro usb

Hello, hello,
I just acquired a second-hand Topgun Fox 2 Pro USB joystick, in perfect condition, to fly with CFS 3. It works very well with the keyboard. The previous owner (whom I know is honest) assures me it works great for him with the same setup.
My PC is running Windows 7 XP 2002 and is completely up to date.
I have tried all my USB ports, and I even downloaded the 4.2 driver from Trustmapper for this controller. No way to get it to work or calibrate it.
When I go to the "properties" of the game controller, the X/Y axis centering cross shakes and refuses to settle. The wheel and the Z rotation axis also shake and do not respond. Only the buttons are active, as well as the viewpoint control. During gameplay, all commands are ineffective except for cannon fire and viewpoint control, and my plane crashes miserably.
I think it might be a compatibility issue with my system, but still...
If anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
BAGGU

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,

This may be a silly question, but does the joystick have batteries, and have you also updated the USB drivers?

Hello FLASHERBACK and thank you for your interest in my topic.
No, my THRUSTMASTER top gun fox 2 pro usb joystick does not need batteries, as it is powered by the USB port.
As for my USB drivers, they apparently are up to date, because a few weeks ago, I wanted to do this update, and I was shown "no newer version available," or something like that.
I should mention that I have previously used a joystick from another brand and more basic to play CFS 1 and 2, and everything worked perfectly.
There you go... see you soon.

    Hello,

I will check and keep you informed.
But it's possible that the joystick is simply out of order.
    See you soon

    Thank you for your dedication.
I’ll try to find someone who has a PC to test my joystick myself.
    I’ll keep you posted...

I installed the Thrustmaster drivers 4.2 and 2.2.3 (or 2.3.3, I’m not sure) and it didn’t change anything about the problem. They are inoperable.
