Hello,
Every time my laptop goes into sleep mode, a pink, purple, or black stripe appears at the bottom of the screen.
I just need to restart the computer for the screen to return to normal.

I would like to point out that when I type my password to access my session, the stripe does not appear.
I would like to understand why this happens.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Well, you need to follow this tutorial:
Click on Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore.
Click Next:
If the date shown is suitable for you, click Next.
Otherwise, check Choose a different restore point and then click Next.
Select a date from the list, then click Next.
Click Finish.
The system restore should begin.
At the end, your PC will restart to continue the restoration. You will be notified when the restoration is complete.
If you receive an error message after the restart, you should try system restore in safe mode.
Note that if the restoration is not satisfactory, the utility has created a new point titled Undo System Restore.
