Hello,

I just bought a new computer and bought Avast Internet Security online.

I downloaded the file but there is no way to open the license.avastlic file to install the antivirus.

Can someone help?

    Good evening,

    What is the size of the file?

    Avastlic seems to be the license file. It is your payment code, when installing the antivirus.

    Restart the Avast IS installation by launching the .exe.

    At some point, you must insert the license file avastlic.

    The requested operation will be of the type: Open a file / browse / select avastlic and confirm.

    The antivirus will finish installing and then run.

    If it doesn’t work, download the free version of Avast, then upgrade by inserting your file. To do this, go to the MAINTENANCE tab, then SUBSCRIPTION. You will be asked to insert the license file "avastlic" there.

    Normally, this is taken into account.
