Hello,
I am new to Ubuntu and I would like to install the drivers for my Wi-Fi card (Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)). I obtained this information by running a
lspci
. I found drivers on the Broadcom website (http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php/) but I do not know how to install them.

I hope someone can help me.

Configuration: Linux / Firefox 13.0.1

Yes, that's what I did. It tells me that the driver is activated, but when I go to the network, there is no Wi-Fi tab.

What is the result of the following command typed in the terminal?
      iwconfig

When you right-click on the network icon
      is "Enable wireless network" checked?
