BIOS password on Acer 7741G (urgent)

Hello,
I have a laptop type Acer 7741G running Windows 7 (warranty expired 2 months ago) and when the Acer page appears highlighted at the bottom it tells me to enter setup F2 then the next page asks me to enter the password (BIOS password) and after 3 attempts (I'm pretty sure about the password!!) it says system disabled 04194..... help me it's stuck... I also just noticed that when I leave the PC on the Acer home page without doing anything, the PC turns off by itself and quickly.... the joys of computing!!!

    Hello,

    If there is a BIOS password, someone must have set it (at least with Acer). If it’s you, find it. If you are sure of this password, check that the keyboard is not in QWERTY when you type it.

    If nothing works, call Acer customer service; they will certainly provide you with an unlock code once you verify your purchase with the invoice number.

    You probably won't find this password, but it's easy to delete it. To do this, just remove the CMOS battery.
    It's a large button battery, stainless steel color, 20 mm in diameter and 3.2 mm thick.
    I don't specifically know your PC, but this battery is usually accessible through a hatch under the keyboard. Check the manual; it should explain it.
    Leave it out for about ten minutes, then put it back in.
    Another possibility: if you see a jumper next to this battery with 3 pins, one of which is free, you can move this jumper for 4 or 5 seconds and then put it back in its original position.

    If you can't do it, ask someone around you who knows a little more than you do. As a last resort, go to a computer repair shop. Be careful though; there are nice ones who will do it for free, but others might try to rip you off.

      Hello,

      I give it -1 because the procedure mentioned above corresponds to what we do with a tower. For laptops (including Acer), 3 out of 4 batteries are soldered or riveted, and you need to wake up early to find a jumper. The procedure for clearing the CMOS is usually explained in the manual for the model.

      The best thing would be to find a disassembly manual for this PC or a similar model.
