Hello!
I can't find my cable and I would like to know if it's possible to explain to me how I could install games and programs (I don't know how to space each word) without a cable. Also, can we download software without the cable as well?
Thanks!

To create a program on the Ti-82, you need to go to the programs menu [prgm]. Since you haven't created one yet, you need to create a new one (using the right arrow, go to "NOUV" and click [enter]) and you can then choose its name. You will find this program by clicking on [prgm]; it's simple: you execute it in EXEC and edit it in EDIT. Be careful, you don't have to save anything; when you exit ([2nd] [quit]) or when you turn off the calculator, your program saves automatically.
The language of the "Texas Instrument" calculators is called Ti-basic. If you want to see what the source code you need to type looks like, check out this site for example: http://carrez.christophe.free.fr/spip.php?rubrique19.
To recognize the functions of the calculator from what you need to type, it's simple: you can only enter uppercase letters (except for the Ti-89 and Voyage 200). So if there are lowercase letters, it is a function. Also, if you cannot find a function in the menus, I recommend the catalog ([2nd] [catalog]).
For your information, the programs on the site I suggested are made for the Ti-83+ but they work on all "Texas Instrument" calculators (except for Ti-89 and Voyage 200).
Note that for the Ti-82 stats.fr, a certain number of functions have been translated into French: the function that clears the screen "ClrHome" becomes "EffEcr".
PS: if you have questions about the programs on the site http://carrez.christophe.free.fr/spip.php?rubrique19, post them on this site; I will respond more quickly, and it will be easier since your posts will be on the same page as the source of the programs.

Salut, pouvez-vous me dire comment on fait pour programmer des jeux sur une TI-82 Stats sans le câble USB ? Dites-moi vite, j'ai trop envie d'avoir des jeux sur ma calculatrice, lol.
I understood everything except that in order to write programs with functions in it, and since we have a TI 82 stats.fr, it's not easy… everything is translated! So if you have a miracle solution… please let me know =)
Enjoy

Hi Mimi, hi LapinKiller! :-)
To space out two words, press ALPHA (in orange), then the zero (0) next to ON.
To put small programs on your calculator, it's impossible to do it without your calculator, unless you type them in by hand.
A+++
PS: It's great, once you start, you can't stop. :-))
You start with basic programs, then when you get the hang of it, you can create lots of things.
To give you some ideas, I created with a friend a 'Mystery Number' program, a 'Euro/Franc' converter, or even a horoscope ;-)))
Have a good evening!

Thanks in advance for your help.
But when I download a program to type manually, I only find the instructions for the TI-82 and not the Stats.fr. However, the functions are not the same, so I'm having some trouble figuring things out.
