where is the Skyrim save file located on PC Solved

Hello,

I need to urgently format my PC and I don’t want to lose my Skyrim save (I’m at level 48, you’ll understand why ;) )

I would like to recover my save onto a USB flash drive to copy it back after reinstalling Windows 7.

Is that possible and where can I copy the specific file?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hi, normally it's "C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves", just copy and paste that into the search bar of the start menu and you'll find your saves.
